Narrative

Uhrich memoir tells us that Johannes had 3 boys and 2 girls, and he made a passing reference to his grandfather's (Fredrick) brother Henry as having died in Reamstown.
The final distribution of the father Johannes' estate, 1 Jun 1790, is summarized in the Misc. Book 1788-1791, pp 239-240. The children are listed in age order, Henry last. A document filed in Orphan's court appointed Fredrick guardian of Henry, a minor son older than 14, so Henry was born before 1776, and after Susannah (1770).

Henry apparently had at least 6 boys and 2 girls, from census data. In 1820 and 1830 they lived in Cocalico twp, Lancaster co PA. By 1840, Henry and his wife had moved to Ephrata; a young woman, probably a daughter, and a boy less than 5 also were living there.
