        Lancaster county, Will book X Vol. 2, p 24; will proven 20 March 1789. Original handwritten in German script. Name spelled Schlott, and signed by Johannes Schlott. Translated version used Shlott and Shott as the spellings.
        The final accounting filed 1 June 1790, Miscl Book 1788-1791, pp 239 - 240 lists the children in birth order -- John, Margaret, Frederick, Susanna (wife of George Hinekle) and Henry.

        Johannes gives her name as Margreta. He gave Margaret the use of the small house in town for life. Land records show that a Jacob Snyder later became owner of the house
