ANSWER SCOUT EXEMPTION SUIT Unfair to Poor, Say Spring Township Heads in Tax Case Claiming that the Reading - Berks County Boy Scout council discriminates against poor boys by making ". charge for attending its camp at Indiandale, the supervisors or Spring township yesterday asked that the court dismiss the council's plea to have the camp exonerated from tax payments. Frederick Phillips, Jerry Stamm and Riley A. Weitzel, the township supervisors, yesterday, through their lawyer, Philip Schmehl, filed their answer to the suit instituted a month ago by John A. Moss, counsel for the scout organization.
