myheritage.com has a different and probably more correct view of her parents:

Maria Spotts (born Russell) was born on month day 1843, at birth place, Pennsylvania, to Cyrus Russell and Elizabeth Russell (born Mumma).
Cyrus was born on September 26 1821, in Pennsylvania, USA.
Elizabeth was born circa 1821, in Pennsylvania, USA.
Maria had 3 sisters: Elizabeth Russell and 2 other siblings.
Maria married George Miller Spotts in 1865, at age 21.
George was born on July 16 1844, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA.
They had 10 children: John Spotts, Samuel C Spotts and 8 other children.

Cyrus seems to have been the son of Thomas and Mary Russell, so Maria was their granddaughter, not their daughter.

I have done some research on this photograph and this is what I've come up with: EUGENE P. (P. probably stands for PATTON) & LLOYD SPOTTS were the sons of *PATTON GAULT SPOTTS born November 21, 1875 PA. and died August 23, 1955 PA. and FRANCES ELVA COFFROAD SPOTTS born 1876 PA. and died 1959 PA., PATTON and FRANCES were married in 1902.

PATTON'S parents were GEORGE MILLER SPOTTS born July 1844 PA. and MARIA RUSSELL born September 1843 PA. PATTON had the following siblings: MARY, WILLIE, HARRY, EDDIE, ELLA , FRANK, REECER, SAMUEL & EMMA. According to the 1880 census records they were living in SOUTH HERMITAGE, LANCASTER CO., PA and in 1900 they were living in SALISBURY TWP., N. DISTRICT, LANCASTER, PA.

FRANCES'S parents were ABNER G. COFFROAD born August 1835 PA. & CATHERINE ZEIGLER born February 1843 PA. FRANCES ELVA had the following siblings: CLEMENS, HARRY, LAURA, MARY & FLORENCE and according to the 1880 census records they were living in HONEYBROOK, CHESTER CO., PA.

In 1920 the family is living in SALISBURY, LANCASTER, PA.

EUGENE P. was born April 19, 1904 and died September 6, 1990 and LLOYD E. was born April 17, 1909 and died September 22, 1996 HONEY BROOK, CHESTER PA. EUGENE & LLOYD had one other sibling by the name of HERBERT M. born 1897 PA.

In 1930 PATTON, FRANCES & son LLOYD are living in SALISBURY, LANCASTER, PA.

In 1930 EUGENE P. SPOTTS is married with a daughter and living in SALISBURY, LANCASTER, PA.
